Fairfax, Va. — February 1, 2007 — LeapFrog Solutions Inc. (LFS), a full-service marketing communications and public relations agency, announced today that Christopher Whytal has joined the firm as an art director. In his new position, he will provide a full spectrum of design services for the agency’s growing roster of government, technology and professional service firm clients.
An award-winning designer, illustrator and photographer, Whytal has more than a decade of experience in visual arts. He has significant expertise in multimedia and Web design as well as experience managing projects for a variety of corporations and nonprofit associations.
Whytal comes to LFS from Siteworx Inc. of Reston, where he was a senior Web designer. Prior to that, he served as an independent freelance designer and as a lead Web designer for New City Media, an interactive design firm in Blacksburg, Va. Before that, Whytal was a graphic designer for Radford University, supporting the school’s extended education and creative services divisions. During this time, he launched and managed the extended education graphic design department — and designed, illustrated and produced a variety of multimedia advertisements and projects.

Whytal holds a B.F.A. with concentrations in graphic design and photography from Radford University, where he graduated with honors. He presently resides in Reston, Virginia.
