(LFS), a full-service strategic marketing communications firm, announced today that Kimberly Pratt, LFS Director of Strategic Communications, has been elected to the Advisory Board of the Entrepreneur Center @ the Northern Virginia Technology Center (NVTC).
The Entrepreneur Center @ NVTC is focused on mentoring a generation of new technology entrepreneurs. It provides a hub of resources for the entrepreneur at every stage of the lifecycle - from fostering entrepreneurship in students, to mentoring the first-time entrepreneur, advising the returning entrepreneur, and engaging the seasoned entrepreneur in venture philanthropy. Ms. Pratt has more than 15 years of marketing communications and management experience in industries such as telecommunications, associations, software and International business. At LFS she serves as the lead strategist and manages clients in both the public- and private-sector. The LFS client base includes industry leaders such as the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority, Athena Technologies, Department of the Interior, Acquisition Services Directorate, Fairfax County Government, USDA Forest Service, and the Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board. Pratt also spearheads the marketing strategies for the agency and develops articles, strategic plans and management strategies.
Prior to joining LFS Pratt handled marketing and operations for leading Washington DC organizations including the Consumer Electronics Association, the Industrial Designers Society of America and PCCW Global.
