FAIRFAX, VA – October 4, 2004 – Lisa Martin, president of LeapFrog Solutions, a leading marketing communications firm, has been named a finalist in the fourth annual Heroines in Technology Awards competition.
Lisa was nominated for her outstanding achievements in support of others and in her consistency in using her experience, knowledge and skills to benefit the greater Washington, DC community.
Lisa and ten other women will be recognized for their achievements at a black-tie reception and dinner on Friday, November 12, 2004 at the McLean Hilton.
March of Dimes and Women in Technology (WIT) have partnered for the third year for this event. Women in Technology is the forerunning organization for women technology leaders in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, with over 1,000 members. WIT recognizes the magnitude of the mission of the March of Dimes, whose researchers, outreach workers, educators, and advocates form a nationwide network of people who assemble a voice for the babies born each day with a genetic defect that may disable or kill them. The November 12 event will feature a silent and live auction, and all proceeds will benefit the March of Dimes.
