FAIRFAX, VA, October 4 – Lisa Martin, President and CEO of LeapFrog Solutions, Inc., an award-winning strategic branding and marketing communications firm, has been elected President of Volunteer Fairfax, the regional leader in developing and delivering creative solutions to community needs.
“This will be an exciting year for Volunteer Fairfax,” said Martin. “I look forward to working with our capable and energetic Executive Director Jeanne Sanders, fellow Board Members and staff to continue to expand the organization’s great community mobilization efforts.”
Lisa has more than 20 years of professional marketing communications and project management experience. She specializes in developing strategic marketing campaigns for high-technology clients, as well as association-sponsored conferences and trade shows. Lisa has extensive project management experience and is recognized for her innovative work in marketing, Web site design and application development, graphic print design, video production and multimedia presentations. She is a featured speaker at numerous events focusing on the effective use of multimedia and Internet marketing including the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), Women in Film and Video, National Women's Business Center, and the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority. Lisa is on the board of directors of the FCCC (Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce), NVTC (Northern Virginia Technology Council), Leadership Fairfax and is President of Volunteer Fairfax. In addition, she is an active member in NMS (New Media Society) and is a 1999 graduate of the Leadership Fairfax and NVTC Mindshare programs. Lisa graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in Marketing and French and received her MBA from George Washington University in Marketing and International Business.
