FAIRFAX, VA, March 6 Lisa Martin, President and CEO of LeapFrog Solutions, Inc., an award-winning marketing communications firm, has been chosen to receive the 2006 Women Who Make A Difference award by Minorities and Women In Business Magazine, a national publication that each year awards outstanding achievements by females in business and community affairs.

Lisa was recognized for her impact on the marketing and communications arena while maintaining an active lifestyle centering on strengthening her community. Her commitment to community service is witnessed in her own individual activities and in ensuring her company contributes pro-bono services to organizations that otherwise would not be able to receive her company’s services.
Lisa has more than 20 years of professional marketing communications and project management experience. She is consistently recognized for her groundbreaking, award-winning work in marketing, Web site design and application development, graphic print design, video production and multimedia presentations. She serves on the board of directors of the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, Northern Virginia Technology Council, Leadership Fairfax and Volunteer Fairfax, where she serves as the current President/Chairman. She is an active member of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), and a graduate of the 1999 Leadership Fairfax and NVTC Mindshare programs. She also motivates her employees to become involved in community outreach. LeapFrog Solutions’ community involvement includes Equal Footing Foundation, Shelter House, Reston Relay for Life, Fairfax Choral Society, Volunteer Fairfax, Leadership Fairfax and the Women’s Center. Lisa graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in Marketing and French and received her MBA from George Washington University in Marketing and International Business.
