The Association of American Railroads (AAR) wanted a complete overhaul of its Web site. They wanted a more sophisticated look and feel to project their evolving image. AAR needed the site to have more intuitive navigation for their users to increase ease of use and ultimately readership. And, they required the ability to make the site more dynamic and valuable to members.
LFS did a complete redesign and architectural restructure of the AAR Web site. The look was updated to reflect the livelier image that AAR wanted to portray. The organization of the site was made more intuitive for the site visitors and AAR members. A member site was added with issues pertaining to members only. And, a content management system was provided for easy updating and site management by AAR staff.
AAR was able to document a dramatic increase in Web traffic and site usage. They received many positive reviews of their lively new look. And, the customized content management system allows even non-technical staff the ability to update site information.
