Challenge:

Fairfax County’s established facility needed its own logo to convey its importance to the quality of life in the county. The new look had to be modern, fresh and “friendly” so it could be used in community outreach and well as internally. The biggest challenge was to take a distasteful but necessary subject and make it interesting.

Solution:

LeapFrog Solutions crafted a distinctive logo that conveyed the wastewater management process, and provided a creative brief that explained the meaning of the logo and its relevance to both internal and external audiences. This approach helped them to garner buy-in from administrators and employees. The logo was applied to signage, tee shirts and trucks. LeapFrog Solutions also rebranded Wastewater Management’s annual reports and brochures, and conducted photo shoots of all facilities.

Result:

Fairfax County’s Wastewater Management program received a fresher, more professional and “corporate” look for all its materials. They created awareness of their brand both internally and externally, and within the county as well as across the country.

A national award provided recognition and greatly increased employee’s pride in the program and the county.
