Iridium’s re-launch needed market specific collateral to very targeted vertical markets. Because Iridium Satellite maintained the Iridium name, they wanted to capitalize on the global brand recognition, but highlight the new ownership. The logo needed to stay the same while introducing the new Iridium.
Working with established branding guidelines, LFS developed a more dominant look and feel catering to each of the new vertical markets, while still representing Iridium as a whole new and improved entity. LFS produced a new portfolio folder, vertical market specific data sheets, product data sheets and a new ad campaign.
Establishing the brand in a consistent manner for corporate and targeted vertical and regional markets enabled Iridium to move at an even quicker pace when launching new products. By setting guidelines for both internal marketing and graphics departments the company and their partners not only saved time, but also money and the respect of the brand.
