The NVTC Foundation encourages and facilitates corporate efforts to give back to the community. The Foundation specifically looks for community initiatives based in Northern Virginia that include technology as an important component in their mission.
There were two challenges: The Foundation was launching an initiative to build a “TechXpedition Center,” a place that shows visitors how technology shapes their lives and will change their lives in the future. A brochure was needed, to educate investors and encourage their financial support for the project. In addition, their web site needed to be redesigned to better convey the “high-touch” human side of technology.
LFS created a striking brochure that emphasizes the broad modern history of technology and focuses on how the Center will provide a unique and enriching experience for visitors that teaches them about technology and also entertains them. The message for investors is to invite them to become leaders of an institution that brands the Northern Virginia region as one of the most technologically advanced and progressive places in the U.S.
To carry through the “high-touch” look and feel that the Foundation now needs to continue growing and attracting donors, the new web design emphasizes bright, friendly colors to better invite people into the site. It focuses on the people of NVTC Foundation friendly photos, programs, computer clubhouse programs, and making it easy to get involved.
