Volunteer Fairfax

Challenge:

Volunteer Fairfax, originally known as The Volunteer Center of Fairfax County, needed a new name and identity that would strengthen their visibility and presence in Northern Virginia.

Solution:

LeapFrog Solutions worked with The Volunteer Center of Fairfax County to assist them with the name change to Volunteer Fairfax (which is also their URL – volunteerfairfax.org), developed their current logo, which represents a person, and developed and produced the initial video, CD, brochures, annual reports, and Web site design.

Result:

Volunteer Fairfax was given a Points of Light award for best design and consistency throughout all collateral. This continues to be the case, even as color schemes may change, the “X man” is highly recognizable and continues to be strongly supported throughout the community even when there was a downturn in charitable giving.
