LeapFrog Solutions Redesigns Web site for American Cancer Society Reston Relay for Life 2002
March 18, 2002, Fairfax, VA – LeapFrog Solutions announces the relaunch of www.restonrelay.org, the Web site for the American Cancer Society Reston Relay For Life, redesigned for 2002. LeapFrog designed and developed the site for Reston Relay for Life 2001, and this year undertook a redesign to give it a fresh look for 2002. LeapFrog is also hosting and maintaining the site as part of its in-kind corporate sponsorship of the Reston Relay For Life. The site is the primary source for information about the June 8-9, 2002 event at South Lakes High School.
LeapFrog Solutions entered into a sponsorship relationship with Reston Relay For Life in 2000, which included developing the first web site for the event and starting a corporate team to participate in the event. "Our experience with Reston Relay For Life in our short history with the organization and event has been extremely rewarding. LeapFrog is an enthusiastic participant in Reston Relay and we are proud to be part of the great work that Relay helps to fund for the American Cancer Society," states Lisa Martin, President and CEO of LeapFrog Solutions.
Maryann Carr, LeapFrog’s Project Manager, is a member of the Planning Committee for Reston Relay as Day-Of-Event Vice Chairman after serving as Marketing Vice Chair last year. "I believe so strongly in the Reston Relay For Life and I am inspired by the commitment of the community of volunteers who challenge themselves to make this event better every year."
