Oakton, Va. —September 29, 2009 — LeapFrog Solutions, Inc. (LFS), a full-service strategic marketing communications firm, has begun a new long-term relationship with the University of Baltimore. As part of a team led by idfive, a Baltimore-based advertising and Web development company, LFS will be working to enhance UB’s brand in local and regional higher education markets through a combination of innovative marketing and advertising that implements both traditional and non-traditional platforms.
Competing against more than 30 other local and national firms, idfive, LFS and their partner agencies came together to create a diverse and experienced team. In addition to LFS, idfive’s teammates include: Barb Clapp Advertising (Timonium, Md.-based), Green + Associates (Baltimore-based) and Moran Interactive (Baltimore-based) for online and traditional media planning and buying services.
LFS’ proprietary L.E.A.P methodology, Framework Analysis and Bulls-Eye session are among the first steps toward building the foundation for this branding initiative. The resulting structured marketing and communications framework will help the team thoroughly understand the University, its target audiences and its overall brand experience. This learning will then be applied to define, focus and execute the new marketing strategies while providing a benchmark to assess the results. LFS will work toward increasing enrollment at the University of Baltimore to 8,000 students (UB’s current enrollment is roughly 6,000) by elevating the awareness of the University’s four-year undergraduate programs as well as its numerous professional graduate offerings.
