Rich Gilroy has directed and implemented social marketing campaigns for numerous causes and issues, including energy efficiency and environmental stewardship, public health, and sustainable food. He also has created and led advertising and integrated marketing campaigns for retail, consumer product, financial service, entertainment, and hospitality / food service clients.
Before joining LFS, he led social marketing efforts for EPA’s ENERGY STAR® program. Previously, he created and managed a public education initiative to reduce the stigma associated with mental illnesses for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, which generated $2.8 million in equivalent advertising value and earned more than a dozen awards for creative excellence. His public education initiative for the U.S. Department of Treasury increased direct deposit 12 percent and was recognized as a finalist for the Public Relations Society of America Silver Anvil Award.
Rich earned his B.A. degree in journalism from Duquesne University.
